Below you will find information on how to have your program closed and how to graduate!

MA students

Instructions for the preparation and submission of your MA thesis is available on the G+PS website. If you have any questions about the submission of your thesis, please contact the G+PS Graduate Thesis team directly at graduate.thesis@ubc.ca.

Note that the program will require a copy of your Master's Thesis Approval form before you submit it to G+PS.

Once your thesis is uploaded to cIRcle, your program will be closed effective that day. The final step is to apply to graduate. Please see below for more details.

MEd students

Once your capstone is approved by both your first and second readers, your supervisor will notify the program. We will ensure that all program requirements are met and then notify G+PS; G+PS will close your program effective the day that your supervisor notified the program of the completion of your capstone, assuming all program requirements were met.

You are then required to submit a PDF copy of your capstone to the Graduate Program Assistant. Capstone projects must be saved as one single PDF file. Students may submit their project via email, USB, or other method (please consult the Graduate Program Assistant should you wish to submit your project in a method other than email or USB).

At this time, you will also be invited to upload your capstone project to cIRcle. Uploading your Capstone to cIRcle is not required, but we always encourage graduating MEd students to do so. If you have any questions about uploading your capstone project to cIRcle, please contact your supervisor.

Finally, you will apply to graduate! Please see below for more details on this final step.
