Marianne McTavish’s research interests include young children’s information and digital literacy practices in home, school and community contexts, particularly in lower socioeconomic, refugee and immigrant communities. She also does research work in Teacher Education, particularly in preparing teacher candidates for early childhood contexts in their understandings of literacies in the assemblages produced in their multimodal digital literacy autobiographies.
